Business Opportunity Networking (BON) A Success! |
The FMM HQ SMI Committee led by Tan Sri Dato Soong Siew Hoong visited Kuching for the Business Opportunity Networking Session in Kuching. It was also graced by YB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr George Chan Hong Nam, Deputy Chief Minister (1), Minister of Industrial Development and Minister of Modernization of Agriculture and YB En Larry Sng Wei Shien, Assistant Minister of Industrial Development on August 14, 2007.

The half day networking session was held at Main Hall, Level 4, Wisma STA, Kuching from 2.30 pm.
The BON SESSION is a platform for the manufacturers and other business counterparts to build their business contacts obtain new businesses, and exchange ideas on how to enhance their businesses. BON sessions are normally attended by FMM members as well as Non-Member companies from the various Chambers of Commerce. It is an excellent opportunity to build business contacts as well as to explore potential serious business ventures.
During the BON session, each company will be given some time to promote their product/s and/or services to other members present. Thereafter they would network among themselves to discuss possibilities of supplying any of the product/s and/or services to one another.
A total of 50 participants participated and some business deals was closed and recommended that day. FMM Sarawak hope to organise similar sessions in Sibu, Bintulu and Miri.
